Let’s face it, not all of us are 100% proficient at computers. They can be frustrating, confusing and sometimes a little scary to use. But there’s no need to panic. We’ve found a list of tips and tricks to help you navigate through some of the mystery that is your computer.
How to get back the tab you accidentally closed. Who hasn’t done this! And it really is easy to reclaim. All you have to do it press “control” (or “command” on a Mac), plus “shift” plus “T” and your tab will reopen.
Make a copy of a file by dragging it. It’s easier than you think to make a copy of a file. Hold the “control” (“Alt” if using a Mac) and then click and drag the file. This will make a copy you can place where you want just by un-clicking.
Clear your cache. We’ve all heard at one point or another that we need to clear our cache. It’s as easy as 1 2 3. Press “control” plus “shift” plus “R”. Not only will it clear your cache, but it will also refresh your page.
How to delete faster in Word. If you’re typing and you realize you’ve made a mistake, simply press “Control” plus “Backspace” and the entire word will be deleted.
