  • Communication: It is important to communicate not only with one another on your team, but with your boss as well. If you are having an issue that may need a little extra attention, it can be crucial to communicate the details with your manger so he or she can help you and the rest of the team reach a solution.
  • Honesty: Being honest with your team members is important, however it is your manager’s responsibility to be honest with you. From addressing an issue to giving praise, a manager’s honesty can make all the difference to the team as they move forward to greatness.
  • Commitment: In any season, your manger should be committed to you, your team, and the work at hand. This will make your job easier as everyone is trying to reach a common goal. Meeting a deadline, or simply coming into work at the same time every day, can change the level of commitment by a few ounces and drive the success of the team to the top.
